Clarence Hunt was a life-time Cowboy, Christian, and A firm believer in the value of higher education. Through his life Clarence made unwavering sacrifices to support his family in pursing college degrees without the burden of financial hardship.
In honor of this defining part of Clarence's life, his family and friends are proud to continue this legacy of genoristy by supporting future leaders through this scholarship. The Clarence Allen Hunt Memorial Scholarship was created to ensure Clarence's legacy lives on through education, ambition, and positive change.
The Clarence Allen Hunt Memorial Scholarship is a one-time award granted to one undergraduate student from the class of 2026. The scholarship provides a total amount of $1,500.00 USD distributed across two academic semesters. ($750.00 USD per semester). Funds will be disbursed directly to the recipient’s accredited post-secondary institution and applied toward eligible educational expenses. Disbursement is contingent upon the recipient maintaining undergraduate enrollment in good academic standing during each semester of award distribution.
To be eligible and apply, you must be:

An Indigenous, US Citizen, graduating high school Senior for the class of 2026.

20 hours of completed community service/volunteering.

A High School Transcript with A GPA of 3.0+

Two Letters of Recommendations.

A Resume.

An essay with name, email, date of birth, graduating high school, answering each prompt in 5oo words or less.

II) How do you hope your education will benefit others and not just yourself?
III) Share a time when responsibility meant sacrifice, how did it influence your maturity?
IV) What is your greatest hope? And how does it motivate others?
